B.E.S.T. exists for people who feel unable to approach the usual employment services. We work with people who have
experienced enduring mental health problems. Our Team focuses on recovery in relation to work and the aim is to help people move toward maximising their independence and
quality of life.
B.E.S.T. seeks to provide a service relevant to a person’s life goals. We support you in finding an appropriate experience of work or training. This involves work preparation followed by placement with an employer or courses to develop skills and interests, as preparation for placements in the future.
The work preparation helps us work out the plan that best
supports your progress. After unpaid placements people
occasionally move on to Permitted Work (benefits top-up). We will also support you for a limited time (9 months) should you move on to seek paid employment.
We offer advice on all available welfare benefits. If you need assistance filling in application forms; or with administration generally, we are happy to support you with this.

We are easy to find and are situated in the town centre. Below is a location map.

Walk along Ashburner Street to Bolton Market (see right) then through the entrance to the right of Carr’s Pasties (se the BEST sign on the wall) and up the stairs (a lift is available) we are on the first floor, ring the buzzer for our attention.

If traveling by bus get off at Moor Lane Bus Station and follow the road to Ashburner Street and walk to Bolton market then see directions for By Foot above.
